About the session

Understanding the numbers is crucial for any business and it is necessary to plan when starting a new business or beginning a new financial year. This workshop will cover how to develop a financial forecast, consider what you need to pay yourself to cover your own obligations and what resources you will need to make provision for to help you operate.

Other aspects covered during the session:

• Sales forecasting
• Variable and fixed costs
• Year-end profit and loss.
  
• Funding options such as personal funds, crowdfunding, equity release, and loans.
  
• Government support and grants to maximize your chances of success.

In addition, you will be provided with a financial forecast document, and an example of how to complete it. You will have a chance to ask questions relevant to your own business needs.
