Passport to Construction Information Session

Redbridge Council's Construction programme is a tailored training course, introducing the industry via traditional & green construction routes, with the aim to get every candidate into work or an apprenticeship.

Starting on 5th November, this free, flexible 6-week training course introduces you to a career in construction—both traditional and green routes. Open to all experience levels.

To be eligible for a place you MUST:

• Be a Redbridge resident
• Aged 19+
• Have right to work in the UK
• Not be on a DWP funded employment programme
• Be unemployed or at risk of losing you job due to a health condition (this includes not working a zero hour contract or self employment)

What you’ll learn:

• Built Environment and construction careers
• Health and Safety/CSCS
• Practical multi-skills (e.g. trades)
• Digital and green construction skills
• Pathways into jobs, apprenticeships or further training

How it works:

• Runs over 6 weeks (on Wednesday's and Thursday's) 
• Mix of classroom and hands-on learning
• Delivered at Redbridge Institute and a Central London venue
